    I love my pots but the handles, not so much. My only suggestion would be to make metal handles with soft grips. We have gas and the heat coming from the flames has made the handles brittle and they break off. It's dangerous if they break off while you are holding a pot of hot something. But I got my new handles with no trouble and am satisfied.

    What can you say about the new handle except that it is an improved design? My wife purchased the full range of Kitchen Craft cookware and other items in 1972 when she was 16 years old and still using it today. Her mother ruined the handle many years ago and I decided it needed to be replaced. We recommend Kitchen Craft and its service highly as outstanding.

    I've owned my cookware for over 20 years and love it as it looks as good as when I purchased. This is only my 2 handle to purchase over all these years and both were for my 2 quart pan that I use the most. Great product, so glad they are made to easily replace one part and keep going!

    It took a while to get used to the grip of this new style handle. I think I like the grip of the older one much better but this one is okay.

    I also received a new handle for the 1 qt pan. The plastic sack was clearly marked 1 qt. And I really cannot see any difference whatsoever with the other handles I ordered. So I don't know why it was so important to distinguish between them.

    The original handle deteriorated around and near the screw, which made the screw loosen often. The pots come with a lifetime warranty, I believe, but Kitchen Craft wants the original receipt…which we could not find…after the initial purchase…14-15 years ago. That’s the only gripe I have, so I outright purchased a new handle.

    I love the products but I can not get my husband to use them properly, he continues to turn the heat up on high (sometimes the flame goes up the outside of pot). Because of this he has burnt through two handles.

    These new handles make my cookware look nearly brand new. I won't be subjecting them to the dishwasher any more! Looked inexpensive to begin with, but Really became pricey with USD to CDN exchange, taxes, & SHIPPING, as well as having to return the ones I ordered in error.     The handle fits perfectly. I love the way the new handle is made with the finger "notches" underneath, which make it much easier to grip. I have had my Kitchen Craft cookware for 38 years and I still love using it because of the sturdy construction and quality.     Works well but these handles when used on a smaller pot are subject to flame damage when used with our gas stove.

    The new metal part that connects between the handle and the pan was shaped differently from my original pan, and was much smaller. As a result, it left a significant gap between the pan and the handle.

    As a result, I could not use that part and had to use my old one. See pictures.

    Kitchen Craft pots and pans are amazing. I've had mine since 1977. It's unfortunate more people don't know about them. Waterless cookware, cooking a roast on top of the stove. People look at me like "what?" My Mom still has her set!

    I have had my skillet for 55 years and the handle broke. We got this replacement but when my husband tried to get the piece of handle off the skillet so he could attach the new one, the whole thing came off and now there is nothing to attach the handle to.     This stick handle kit was a replacement for our 12" skillet handle which arrived broken in its original packaging with our new cookware set. It works fine.

    However, our set of cookware arrived without the booklet that is supposed to come with it. Please send the cookware booklet as soon as possible. We have not really utilized the cookware to its full extent because of not knowing the correct way of using it for optimum, healthy cooking.

    Let me see if I can "handle" this handle review. First of all the prior handle gave well over thirty years of fire eating service. A most excellent record, wouldn't you say? I can only prognosticate that the "new" handle will last as long – but, we'll just have to wait and see won't we? I must say, it's bright and shiny and works perfectly. It's nearly impossible to make that claim about any $7.00 purchase!

    It is difficult to order the proper handles when my cookware was purchased in 1981 and the handles are no longer available and the replacements are not very clear which to choose. I ordered side handles for my big kettle but when they came they are much too small.

    I wasn't able to attach the handle with the chrome piece. I wasn't able to put it on the handle. I was not sure on how it goes onto the handle without separating the seam. The handle does work without it. I suggest attaching it at the factory prior to shipment.
