I like this handle better than the older version that was on the pan. This one has more space between the handle and the pan. This should keep it from over heating.

I was very pleased with the handles. They made my cookware (bought in 1984) look like new..the handles seem to be made of a different material, but i actually like it better. Finally were able to pick them up, and husband assembled last night. They seem to be fine, not wiggling/stripped out anymore! The fry pan handle is more ergonomically uncomfortable, for me, I’ll have to guard against thumb issues. The steep angle on the top near the pan edge cuts in, where the previous handle was more sloped. Easy for me to break blood vessels on the underside of my thumb, with the weight of pan &contents

Because of the design of the pan, it has a loose nut that sits in a frame attached to the pan, I have been unable to attach the handle. The handle does appear to fit, so when I can finally get the bolt to thread into the nut the handle should work.
