    I would have given this purchase an excellent except for the fact that the knob doesn't fit snug to the lid. But, I will say it works ok. Too bad the shipping and handling cost more than the replacement parts and felt that it should have been under the lifetime guaranty and not be charged for it. Oh, well.

    Right item was received in a relatively short time span. I so love my waterless cookware. I accidentally put the lid over a pot, in a too hot oven and the handle cracked and broke off. My favorite thing about the cookware is to bring veggies to a boil, then turn them off and then they are done in just a few minutes, time and energy saving.

    It didn't fit immediately. My husband had to take it out to the garage and make some kind of adjustment. Then the first couple of times that I used it the valve wouldn't close completely, but after that it has worked fine.

    It was an easy install and seems to be working very well. I hope that this one last longer than the original skillet knob. It seems that the vapor emitted in use broke down the plastic around the screw portion of the knob. However, the new one is great so far!

    Part was as described. Was more than twice as expensive as quoted by representative on the phone, but still affordable. Lifetime Warranty is kind of a joke when you have to pay for shipping both ways, so it’s more expensive than buying the part outright. I’ve spent over $1,800 on Kitchen Craft, and you couldn’t sent me a $12 part in the 15 years I’ve owned them. The representative said you couldn’t afford to – really? How often does your stuff break? I’ve had one thing wear out in everyday use in 15 years. I love your merchandise…. your warranty, not so much.

    I bought a set of pots and pans with a LIFETIME, UNCONDITIONAL WARRANTY. To get the wrong handle for the pan is bad enough but to have to pay for it is over the top. Not only will I not fall for ANY spiel that includes an unconditional warranty, I doubt seriously that I'll buy anything from a salesman again.

    I was so happy to find this. I received my cookware as a housewarming gift for my first apartment 20 years ago from my grandmother and love them! When my most used lid knob broke off I was so bummed. Remembered this stuff has a lifetime warranty so I jumped on their website to see what I could do to get it fixed but found it’s not covered. Then I saw they sell this replacement valve kit for only $12. Whew I was okay with that, it probably would’ve cost more to ship the lid to get fixed anyway if it were covered under warranty. I bought 2 and when they arrived it was easy to replace the broken one and fit perfectly!
