Creating healthy recipes and cooking healthy meals is easy and there’s a meal for everyone to enjoy, however if you’re new to your cookware or want to brush up on your knowledge on how to best utilize your waterless cookware, keep on reading!

First let’s start with the basics, how do you use the waterless cooking feature?

Kitchen Craft Waterless cookware with lids has Vapor Seal technology that uses the water from your washed veggies and meats you put in your cookware, so there’s no need to add water which would in turn take the nutrients and minerals from your ingredients! After you’ve put your washed produce and proteins in your cookware, turn on your stove, cover your cookware with the lid, and wait for the steam to come through. Once you see your steam, spin the lid and watch the magic happen, you have just activated the Vapor Seal!

How the Vapor Seal works is by using the condensation formed within the cookware to create a water base seal between the lid and cookware. When you spin the lid on your cookware, you create an even distribution of the vapors in between the crevasse formed by the lid and cookware, combined with the change in temperature, a suction is formed creating the Vapor Seal. The benefit of the Vapor Seal is that this technique can replace boiling and have the same heat distribution ability like your oven does, it saves time therefor saving money from the gas and electric bill, as well as preserve the nutrients and flavor in your food that otherwise would be taken out through boiling.

How do I know when my food is done, without lifting the lid?

After the Vapor Seal is created, it is recommended to not lift the lid up to peek, or the sudden change in temperature can affect the cooking process, so here’s how you will know when your food is done, as well as how to lift the lid. When cooking veggies only, cooking is extremely easy for all you have to do is wait for the steam come through the lid, spin, then take the cookware off the heat. The heat trapped inside the cookware will continue cooking your veggies, not only cutting time and energy down by a huge margin, but this keeps the nutrients, minerals, and flavors and you’ll plate your dish once you’re ready! As for more complex dishes, the times will vary. However, we have many recipes from vegan to meaty that will have cooking times for the best result, and overtime you’ll develop an internal timer for your personal dishes!

To take the lid off of your cookware, the best way to do it is to twist and pull at an angle, and if that doesn’t work, don’t panic. Simply put your cookware back on the stove, turn on the heat and the lid will loosen and you can pop it off!

Another nice ability Kitchen Craft Cookware has is that this cookware is greaseless, meaning you need little to no oils and butters to prepare your meals! Chicken, Steak, and even fish can be cooked with very little grease with sauté pans, and greaseless with sauce pans with lids using the same Vapor Seal technique to your advantage! Fatty proteins such as steak, pork, and dark meat utilizes their natural oils to prevent getting stuck to the pan, making your Kitchen Craft sauté pans perfect for the job. When cooking leaner cuts of meat however, because of it’s low fat content, the Kitchen Craft Sauce Pans with the lid would be the best fit for the job. This is because you can create the vapor seal and use the moisture from the lean meat to help keep it from sticking to the pan. Only lift the lid when checking the progress of the meat and reform the Vapor Seal, and once your meat is cooked to your liking, remove the lid and cook on both side to form a nice crust!

The last Kitchen Craft Cookware tip that you need to know is how to cook your eggs!

There are many ways to cook your eggs, so we’ll teach you how to scramble, create an omelet, and boil your eggs without water! Because eggs have no fat, you will need fat for this one, so be sure to choose a nice quality healthy oil or butter. When cooking scrambled eggs, it really is easy as 1, 2, 3, heat your healthy oil in the pan with medium heat, add your seasoned and stirred eggs to the pan, and scramble with your spatula to your preferred wellness, simple! As for Omelets, it’s just as simple to make as the scrambled eggs. Heat your healthy fat on medium-low, add your eggs to the pan without disturbing it, then add your fillings to one side of the circle created. Once all your fillings are in, wait a few moments until your easily able to lift the empty side of the omelet with your spatula, and flip said side over your fillings. Turn off your heat, and carefully serve by either lifting the entire omelet with the spatula, or slide the omelet on to the serving plate. And finally, how do you make boiled eggs without water? Well, first wet a folded paper towel and place the paper towel into the sauce pan (make sure the width and length of the folded towel is about the same as the bottom of the sauce pan). Then, place your eggs on top of the paper towel and turn the heat to medium-low, place the lid on top to create a Vapor Seal and once the seal is formed, lower the heat to low. The longer you keep your eggs in the pot, the harder your egg will become, so: 6-7 minutes will make a soft boiled egg, 9-11 minutes will give you a medium boiled egg, and 13-15 minutes will make a hard boiled egg. Once your eggs are done boiling, place your eggs in an ice bath, peel , and enjoy!
