Pan Seared Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Salmon Fillets 4-6 oz. each
  • 1 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbs. Butter
  • 1 ½ Tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tsp. Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbs. Chopped Parsley

Equipment

  • 12" Skillet or 10" Freedom Skillet with Cover

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Season salmon fillets with salt & pepper to taste.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin side up, cook for 5 minutes or until a brown crust forms.
  3. Carefully flip salmon & cook for additional 5-6 minutes or until fish is opaque.
  4. Remove salmon from pan. Add butter & melt.
  5. Add garlic to pan & cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Stir in lemon juice & salt & pepper to taste.
  6. Place salmon back in pan. Spoon the sauce over the top.
  7. Sprinkle parsley over the salmon, then serve.
