Description
Our Gourmet Cooker Base is designed to be used with you the 4 Quart Stock Pot, 6 Quart Gourmet Stock Pot, and 10″Freedom Skillet. It has a variable temperature dial ideal for being used as a slow-cooker and is also perfect for fondue! And unlike conventional slow-cookers and crockpots, your Gourmet Cooker Base is not directly attached to any of the cookware. This makes cleanup so much easier and you don’t have to worry about submersing the base in water while trying to clean the pot. After the unit cools completely, simply wipe clean with a warm damp dishcloth or sponge!

Much thanks to you and your company for sending me the Slo-Cooker base. When I got it and opened it up I was so glad. I'm going to use it today to make a stew. I have been using my cookware and I wish that I had started using it when I first got it. I am so amazed with the end product, the food tastes so good! I love this little gadget. Coupled with the appropriate sized pot, and you have a great slow cooker or warming plate. If you love your cookware, and would like to leverage it for slow cooking, grab this base to gain that great feature. Yes, this does make a very expensive slow cooker set up, but, what you gain for the price is the ability to use your Kitchen Craft pot to seal in the flavors. How many of those typical slow cookers can do that? I always enjoy the slow cooking aromas with those … ;)

I have had my Kitchen craft waterless cook ware for over 15 years now and I love it. My old gourmet slow cooker base died on me, so I order a new one and put it to work yep the day I open the box. The new one had handles which I like.
