6 Whole Raw Apples
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
4 Tablespoons Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Water
Sliced Almonds for garnish
Sliced Raisins for garnish
1. Wash apples and remove the cores. Pare each apple around the center removing 1/2” of skin.
2. Place apples in 3-quart unit.
3. Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle mixture into the center of each apple.
4. Make a syrup with butter, 1 cup sugar and water and pour the syrup over the apples.
5. Cover the unit and cook over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
6. Garnish with sliced almonds and raisins.
